Little Spring Earring Holders.

April is a HUGE birthday month for us! We end up crafting much of the month away....

I made these the night before a birthday party in Ottawa last week.....and then forgot them at home.
So, in the post they will go this week.

DIY Earring Holders

1. Buy inexpensive 8X10 frames. These were on sale for $6. If you don't have a glue gun, borrow/buy one.
2. Dig up (or buy) enough fabric to cover the 8X10 space.
3. You'll also need to pick up some lace and then I decided to add the little birdies.

Note* My frames happened to have TWO pieces of 8X10 cardboard behind the frame glass. SCORE! If yours doesn't, you may want to purchase some cardstock so you have something substantial to work with.

4. Wrap the fabric around once piece of 8X10 cardboard and, using a glue gun, fasten the fabric at the back.
5. Carefully dot the upper side of the lace with hot glue and fasten to the fabric, again, using extra glue to secure the ends of the lace to the back of the cardboard.
6. Glue the second piece of cardboard to the back of the first piece. This will hide all of your gluing and ugly bits.
7. Check to make sure the lace is solidly fastened at the upper edge and free on the bottom edge. Dangly earring will be hooked through the lace holes, so make sure they are not glued!
8. Remove the glass from the frames and insert of fabric covered cardboard.
9. Close at the back, glue on a little birdie (or initial or whatever, if you choose).

Done;)
