A Chalkboard Wall.

We have *started* the process of finishing the first two floors of the house.
We have a 5 week time frame and a very limited budget.

So, here it goes...one small step at a time!

The Chalkboard Wall

This started as a very lovely but non-descript wall around our pantry door.

I grabbed a can of chalkboard paint we had in the basement and gave it 3-4 very quick coats last weekend.

All of a sudden we have a gorgeous black wall. Which I love.
It is also making me feel more confident about the plans for the powder room.....

We let it sit for a few days and then today, in the snowstorm, we had fun with it for the first time.

A place for great ideas, groceries, and little doodles.....

I've always been a little fearful of the chalkboard wall......will it get too messy??
