What Art are You Going to Create?

Yesterday I posted about my intention for the year...to Be Brave.
To do more of what I love.
To create.
In direct opposition to the perfectionism that has been my life, I plan to get messy, to create something that is 100% me.

I've been working for years on this project.
For weeks now I've been fine tuning.
Planning to launch my idea.

And then I woke up this morning thinking "This is stupid. Things are fine as they are. Let it go."
I pretty much gave up. So easily, I was ready to pack it all in.

Then I popped over to Swiss Miss and I found this video from Seth Godin (love him) and I remembered that connection is the only way forward.
There is no giving up.

**The Icarus Myth teaches us to play it safe, to obey authority, to not *fly too close to the sun*.
Godin's new book: The Icarus Deception encourages readers to ignore the mythological lesson.

"This book is about committing to do work that is personal, that requires guts, and that has the potential to change everything,” -Godin.
