Spring Crafting: Berries and Bunnies

It's that time of year again....flowers bloom, rain falls, and eight of our family members have birthdays. That's right, it's birthday season! And so, the crafting begins.

Admittedly, I chicken out when it comes to the guys. I'm sure the males in our life would love and appreciate something homemade, I just haven't figured out what that something is. So until then, they get things like hands-free sets for their iPhone or Jamie Oliver cookbooks....

These super sweet strawberry pillows were made for two very special birthday gals who just happen to share a newly decorated bedroom. They were so popular at our house, I made a few extras for us. Check out the newly painted brick wall in our sunroom!

The bunnies, which I'm sure you saw on yesterdays post, were actually made for us. A new Easter family tradition. These are actually finger puppets but I plan to stick special surprise sweeties up their behinds and make them "super hard to find" prizes in our egg hunt every year!

Patterns for both can be found at The Purl Bee.

More crafting later this week..
Have a great Monday!
