Yarn Love Letters.

I first saw these adorable yarn wrapped letters HERE

It's a simple, inexpensive project that took very little time but I love how these tiny works of art decorate the corners of our home. I really believe it's these itty bitty snippets of home made color and care that breathe life into our house....that really make it ours, you know?

For the *spring* above I used some pipe cleaners  from the cupboard, wrapped them together and, formed the word and then wrapped it with yarn, just like the tutorial recommended.

It's cute but flimsy and some of the pipe cleaners were hard to cover (I had to wrap and wrap and wrap...).

So I tried it again with floral wire I had leftover from Christmas ornaments.

I love the way it turned out. It was faster and it's more sturdy.

I think it would be lovely to do a child's name for their room....

Have a great weekend.....hopefully there will be SUN!
