Happy Friday!
We *took the night off* last night, to take a Creative Encaustics Workshop and lounge around a beautiful hotel...
The best part (ok, maybe not the best but certainly an great part) was waking up this morning, having breakfast in bed and realizing that it was only Friday! The weekend hadn't even started.
Heaven.
Anyways, we're home, and getting back into the swing of things.

It was incredible. I wish I could go back today.
Julie (the artist who ran the course) was warm and welcoming and encouraging. The music was great. There was wine (which I stopped drinking fairly quickly, as blow torches were involved!) and the smell.....it was heavenly. We were painting with melted beeswax....and the smell was just so lovely. I keep smelling our artwork. I love it.
I'm thinking that a private workshop would make for the most amazing birthday party this year?
