Happy Friday!
Happy end of Movember!
and, best of all,
Happy Eve of Advent!
Tomorrow the countdown begins....
In preparation, I pulled out the advent calendars I made last year.
After 11 months in the basement, my calendar needed a quick clean and a few minor repairs.
Then I grabbed some of my favorite supplies from Cute Tape and got to work...
In no time at all I had filled all the little pegs.
I wrapped up ornaments and tiny nativity pieces, chocolates and candy canes, stickers and washi tape (will I ever stop talking about this stuff?)....
I included lots of super fun holiday activities like:
Get a Christmas tree
Take an impromptu trip to Toronto to visit the Christmas Market (Check it out!)
Surprise tickets to The Sound of Music
Take a walk *late* at night to see the lights
Have a Winter Solstice Bonfire!
Make Peppermint Bark
Do something nice for a stranger!
Go Pub Carolling
And of course, a few Holiday Crafts:

Like THESE holiday shaped bird feeders from Kate's Creative Space.

And THESE snow globes from MS.
There will also be snowflake making and cinnamon heart ornament making and few other surprises!
With December just around the corner, our advent calendar is prepped and ready to go! Little hands constantly touching it and asking if "it's time"...
Not to worry though!
Here are a few last minute advent calendars you can put together tonight!!
Try THIS quick no-sew version from Design Mom
Or THIS Norwegian version: All you need is a stick, some string and tissue/brown paper!
Lastly, I love this *Falling Stars* Advent Calendar from Design Sponge. You could make it faster by keeping the stars a simple cut-out with a note on the back!
Welcome December!
