Today is the day.
We've been counting down for weeks!

Yesterday we taped Winnie's birthday questions.

In true four year old form, Winnie revealed some new-to-mom information in the interview.

I've posted a very short clip from the birthday questions video where Winnie informs me that her favorite colors are: turquoise, green and purple.....

The Birthday Questions


Winnie has always loved turquoise.
It's been her favorite color for years....
But green? And purple?
This is new.

Thankfully, I had already planned to make THIS cake.

All her favorite colors......who knew?

She was pretty exited when she saw the cake this morning...

She's been following it around ever since....

I made the cake really smooth (as in the link to the icing tutorial above) but then, at the last minute, decided to make it a bit more *messy*.
Not sure what I prefer?

Doesn't matter.
