A Healthy cup of Comfort.

So, it snowed on Sunday and it looks like we're in for more of the white stuff this coming weekend. The more snow we get...the more cocoa I drink. Directly proportional.

I found this recipe in an issue of Clean Eating Magazine, at the end of last winter. It's chocolately and minty (awesome!) and it makes me feel slightly better about my hot chocolate addiction!

Ingredients
1 mint tea bag
1/4 c. boiling hot water
3/4 c. almond milk (or any milk you like!)
2 tsp. unsweetened organic cocoa powder (I like the Cocoa Camino stuff!)
1 Tbsp. agave nectar or sucanat

Place tea bag in cup. Pour boiling water over tea bag and steep for 2 minutes. Squeeze tea bag and remove from cup.

Meanwhile, heat milk over medium heat until it's very hot but not boiling. Add to tea mixture, then stir in cocoa powder and agave/sucanat.

Mix with a spoon until cocoa powder completely dissolves.

Cheers to snow days and holidays and rosy cheeks.....and runny noses!
