There will be a new little Seaby baby sometime around Valentine's Day!
We're jumping for joy!
It was a very happy, very big surprise.......I love the way life throws a curve ball just as soon as you think you've got it figured out!
It feels so good to share the news and explain why I look and feel like poop all the time.....It's also the reason my blogs have been few and far between. The past couple of months have been hard on me and while things are definitely looking up, I have to admit, I am enjoying the slower pace and plan to stick with it for awhile.
I plan to write 2-3 times a week....hopefully I'll fit everything in because, as they say, the show must go on. And, going on it is! I have so many BIG plans for the fall. Along with teaching and practicing, I am continuing to help promote Birthfest through our facebook page (monthly articles) and a Reel Birth Film Festival (coming soon!). I am also working with my friends Laura and Natalie to organize "Birth Matters": a weekly lecture series on alternative parenting. I will be sure to include info for those in Kingston as soon as I can!
As they weather begins to turn, we'll be cooking and canning and crafting and revelling in the "gearing up for September" feeling. I just love this time of year and it feels particularly special this year. With new life growing inside me I feel full of ideas and inspiration. Hopefully, someday soon my physical energy will catch up......

Now, we aren't going to find out but.....I think it looks like a boy. Don't you??
Congrats Jilly! So exciting! Hope you're feeling well soon.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Jill! That's wonderful news! Wishing you a smooth pregnancy...how exciting that Winnie will be able to show her new little brother or sister 'the ropes' to being a kid in your wonderful family!
ReplyDeleteI think he looks like Karl Malden, but that's just me (don't forget to go to karlmalden.com today).
