Lazy Days of Summer.....

The lazy days of summer are here. We returned from a weekend at the cottage: tired, filthy and ready for a warm bath, clean pjs and comfy beds. After so much sunshine, water, fresh air and togetherness it felt almost painful to sit down at a computer, by myself, and write. These long summer days feel so full of life, I've been struggling to find time to write about life....as it should be I suppose....




This week, things get even crazier! On Tuesday, we will be hopping the pond to England and Ireland. We have big plans to visit friends and friends that are family, introducing our daughter to the place where we fell in love and eventually made the commitment to be together forever. A little snapshot of "Jamie and Jill pre-Winnie" and a life that once was...

The days will be packed with walking and seeing, meeting and visiting....and my writing will be erratic, at best, for the next two weeks.

But I will be back and I hope you'll check in from time to time, to read and to fill me in on the lazy days of summer.....wherever you happen to be spending them.
