I’m going to stop sewing tiny frocks before Winnie has more summer dresses than there are summer days.
It's time to change gears.....We are awaiting the birth of a whole batch of summer babies, and so, there is much baby sewing to do. I have a shipment of organic fabrics on the way and a long list of ideas to keep me busy well into the fall!

That's right! Two ways!
I can't do button holes yet...I'm avoiding them like the plague. I'm still new to this sewing thing and I can only handle ONE challenge per project...So, instead of buttons I found this flower broach to fasten the two straps to the dress.
I wish I had pics of Winnie in her new dress but we've had a very sick little girl the past two days.....We were up late last night, watching the fever and trashy tv, drinking cold herbal tea and waiting for a break in the heat....which came sometime around 3am? Who can remember??
Thankfully, this morning everything seems much more cheery.
