we were hit by the phantom bat

Late, one evening this week, we found a bag of treats on our porch.

We looked around for the courier, but there was no one in sight.
Pippa said: "dat pooky!!!"

Tucked inside the bag was a note from the Phantom Ghost, asking us to secretly deliver treats to two other houses in the neighbourhood and display the *phantom bat* in our own window, so we don't get hit again.......

Today we'll be assembling treat bags and then, late tonight, we'll be bat bombing the neighbourhood.
