Last year I made these beaded letter ornaments. I made family sets for all of our favorite (Christmas celebrating, tree decorating) families and mailed them out with Christmas cards. In total I think I (along with my helpers elves: Jamie and mum) made 80 of them!
I got the idea from my sister, C. She made us a set the year before and I loved the way the sparkled on the tree, an ornament representing each of us....then, for my birthday, my two sisters bought me the Martha Stewart Encyclopedia of Crafts containing the instructions and templates for the ornaments. For those without "the encyclopedia" you can follow the directions: here. I actually gave up on the template after an ornament or two, opting to shape them my own way. You decide.

The only problem with these things? The babies keep coming! I have 5 new ornaments to make this year for new arrivals...and many more in years to come, I'm sure!
Have a Wonderful Weekend!
If you're in town maybe I'll see you at The Santa Claus Parade Saturday night?
Ours were much appreciated and will be enjoyed for many years to come! I am doing the nieces and nephews personalised cushions this year, should keep me busy for the next few weeks?
