What's for Dinner....and other things!

Things have been crazy this week. Back to school prep and a practice that seems to explode every September, is keeping me on my toes:)

So, on this lovely sunny (will the heat ever end??) Friday, I thought I'd share a few of my favorite blogs. Spaces I love popping into when I'm feeling overwhelmed or in need of inspiration. Oh, and a picture of my new niece, Claire Olivia, who we can't stop talking about!

Soulemama
Who doesn't love this website?? For those who have never visited, Amanda Blake Soule is a crafter, home-maker and mother of four. Her blog is full of beauty and inspiration. Tonight we're making her Tomato and Carrot Soup. Click here for the recipe. I can't wait to use up our CSA tomatoes and carrots with this yummy, heart soup!

The Long Thread
An amazing source of crafts ideas for kids!

Fat Mum Slim
So funny and real and she blogs constantly! A great pick me up any time of day.

Habit
I love this concept. A collective of visitors blogging about beautiful moments in everyday life. It's a quiet moment in a busy day. Amanda Blake Soule also happens to be a guest blogger at the moment!

Red-Handed
Darryl Berger, the artist who designed my blog!, has one of the funniest blogs I have ever read. It's "coffee shooting out of your nose" funny:) Often when I read this blog, I find myself yelling "Jamie, come here! You gotta read this!". DJ is slightly more cynical than most (or is he?), but his view of the world is always comical and, typically, right on the money. He also happens to have a new book launching and an uber cute little girl, who gets much blog time! Check it out!

  1. I made vegetable soup from my farm share today too - it was so yummy. I get so excited when we have a 100% local meal :)
