The pressure was off and we were elated. I had tons of work that had piled up and was hoping to make a dent in it before my "work" day began. Funny thing though, instead of feeling more settled, I felt restless and unfocused. It was like a had been stuck under a rock for weeks and I needed to get out.
So, instead of finishing my two 2-hour lectures for this morning or my guest speaker spots for tonight and tomorrow, or dealing with the unreturned emails & phone calls, I decided to.....shop. I happily ignored everything to drive out to Wool-Tyme and buy 10 skeins of the most beautiful 100% Peruvian wool and some new bamboo needles. It was bliss. So good, I almost missed a meeting.

Needless to say, I didn't get any sleep last night. I got home at 6pm, signed the final FINAL house papers, put Winnie to bed and eventually got down to business. I finished the mountains of work at midnight and then stayed up, knitting, until the wee hours. Too excited about the season, and the future, and life to sleep.
Because apparently I didn't grow out of that, like I should have, when I was 5.
Haha... Too funny Jill. Congrats on the house getting sold! Maybe you will wear yourself out eventually???? Haha probably not.
